What’s The Difference Between LPG and CNG Alternative Fuels
LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) and CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) are both clean alternative vehicle fuels widely used in Latin America, Southeast Asia and South Asia, but they differ greatly in chemical composition, storage method, refueling efficiency and vehicle application scenarios. LPG is primarily a mixture of propane and butane, stored in low-temperature liquid state, and widely applied for household heating, cooking and light-duty passenger cars. CNG is mainly composed of methane, stored in high-pressure gaseous state inside special vehicle gas cylinders, and is the mainstream clean fuel for taxis, logistics trucks and commercial fleets.
