1. Overview of MP48 CNG/LPG ECU System
The MP48 sequential injection ECU is engineered for modern petrol engines converted to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) or Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). Featuring a high-speed 32-bit processor, it communicates seamlessly with the vehicle's OBD system to ensure precise fuel-air ratio adjustment, smooth transitions, and compliance with Euro 5 standards.
2. MP48 ECU Pinout and Wiring Instructions
Proper wiring is critical for stable communication between the gas ECU, petrol injectors, MAP sensor, and change-over switch. Refer to the standard pin connections below:
Power Supply (Pins 1 & 2): Connected to the vehicle battery and ignition switch (12V fused).
Gas Injectors (Pins 3 to 6): Connect respectively to the 2Ω/3Ω CNG/LPG injector rails.
MAP Sensor & Temperature Sensor: Linked to measure intake manifold absolute pressure and gas temperature.
Change-over Switch: 4-pin harness connecting the dashboard gas/petrol mode selector switch with a built-in buzzer.
Oxygen Sensor & OBD Communication: CAN High / CAN Low or K-Line wires for real-time fuel trimming.
